We visited the Corolla Wild Horse Fund site in Historic Corolla, where Fran shared info for the horse tours-saying it was an experience we would always remember. We picked this tour (with guide Kyle) and it was indeed something we will remember. The horses were not on the beach, but were grazing amongst multi-million dollar houses build amongst sand dunes, and accessible only by 4 wheel drive. Kyle was a knowledgeable and excellent guide who would stop and talk to us (no loudspeakers!) and it was an experience we would not otherwise have ever had. It is a bumpy, windy ride and that was also part of the overall experience!

I cannot express how amazing it was!! We went on the last tour of the day and it was incredible! Our tour guides name was Clint and was one of the sweetest men I have ever met. He told us a lot about the history of the island, the names of each horses, the breed, ext. he was phenomenal! We saw about 25 horses while out on the tour. We even had two pass right in front of us. It was one of the most incredible experiences I have ever had. If u you you want to see the wild horses I definitely recommend this tour!!

They really know where to find horses and wild horses are pretty unique so must see! Just recommend having sunglasses to avoid sand going into eyes during beach portion. Ride goes from beach which is very very scenic ocean on one side while sand dunes on other. Slightly bumpy in carova area but overall very worth it!

Such an amazing experience. We had the best guide and saw so many of the wild horses! Also such a great view on the 4x4 beach.

We really enjoyed the experience and our guide, however, we were a little disappointed and saddened to see little regard to the "wild" horses when it comes to preservation of their habitat. Continual destruction of the area with building luxury homes doesn't show much appreciation for one of the very things that brings people to the area. Thank goodness Corolla Wild Horse Tours has purchased and reserved some space that cannot be developed.

What a wonderful experience. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. I learned so much. We saw a lot of horses. Don't bring a hat. It will probably fly off. The ride was very very bumpy due to riding on the sand. Do a tour. We had access to private land that showed the horses that the public does not access to because it's on private land. I would not recommend if you have a bad back or get motion sickness very easily.

Our family of ten went on the wild horse tour today. Our guide was Kyle. He was very knowledgeable about the horses and other local wildlife, like sea turtles. We saw a ton of horses and the ride was a blast. I highly recommend this place.
